HeatShield Chimney Flue Repair and Relining System

If your fireplace flue needs repair, there are typically a few options available. An application of HeatShield allows the original masonry fireplace to continue being used while repairing the flue that vents the dangerous by-products and flue gases out. Dano's technicians are factory trained installers and dealers for HeatShield. Get in touch today to book an initial inspection to see if this product is the right fit for your repair!

HeatShield is a specially formulated “Cerfractory®” sealant material that restores the integrity of your chimney’s flue to vent hazardous flue gases from your home. It eliminates the dangers in your chimney caused by gaps, cracks and spalling for years to come. By using either the Repair System or the CeCure Sleeve Relining System (depending on the defects found), your chimney will be restored to its original peak level of safety and efficiency

HeatShield PriorFire Retrofit Fireplace System

Whether your existing fireplace and flue are damaged and don't meet current code, or you're looking to upgrade your current open masonry fireplace, the PriorFire is an excellent option. It can restore your fireplace, correct improper design problems, improve your fireplace to meet local building codes, and restore it to its peak level of safety and efficiency. To complete this transformation, the existing fireplace and flue are demolished internally, then the PriorFire fireplace, smoke dome, and stainless steel chimney liner are installed.

When it is properly applied, it restores the integrity of your fireplace. Formula 51 insulates, seals gaps, and smooths the smoke chamber walls as required by both NFPA and IRC codes.
